With the release of Dave Brons – ‘Not all Those Who Wander are Lost’ and Apocalyptica –’Cell-0′, 2020 had a tremendous musical start! Despite (or maybe because of) the Corona crisis, it was a year with a lot of fantastic albums.

My top 10 2020, the countdown.

Fortunately, there were more great albums. Some of them were just out of my top 10. I will name a few of them in random order:

The Black Noodle Project – Code 2.0
Rick miller – Unstuck in Time
Airbag – A day at the beach
The Neal Morse Band – The Great Adventour – Live in Brno 2019

There are also some great releases planned for next year, one of them is ‘ΩMEGA’, by Epica.
This will be the eighth album of this Dutch symphonic band and is scheduled for 26 February. Not only an orchestra will participate, but for the first time also a children’s choir. An album to look forward to.

De beste albums van 2020

Met de release van Dave Brons – ‘Not all Those Who Wander are Lost’ en Apocalyptica – ‘Cell-0’ had 2020 een geweldige, muzikale start! Ondanks (of misschien dankzij) de Corona crisis, was het een jaar met veel mooie albums.

Er waren gelukkig meer fantastische albums. Sommigen vielen net buiten mijn top 10 . Ik noem er een paar in willekeurige volgorde:

Voor het komende jaar staan er ook weer mooie releases gepland, één ervan is ‘ΩMEGA’, van Epica.
Dit wordt het achtste album van deze Nederlandse symfonische band en staat gepland voor 26 februari. Er doet niet alleen een orkest aan mee, maar voor het eerst ook een kinderkoor. Een album om naar uit te kijken dus.
