Blues guitarist\/singer Henrik Freischlader is a popular artist. He performed regularly with his band, Henrik Freischlader Band, (in various line-ups) in several venues in the Netherlands. For Maxazine<\/a>, I was present at a few concerts<\/a>.

He also performed as support act for Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King and Gary Moore, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, many concerts have been rescheduled by Corona recently. These were postponed to this autumn. Also, in the Netherlands, the band had concerts planned. Recently, Henrik announced that the band will split up. Because of all the Corona troubles, a lot has changed for the band members, new paths have been taken. This means that all the planned concerts are cancelled, including the concerts on 21 November in De Bosuil in Weert, 26 November in Metropool, 28 November in De Noot in Amersfoort and on 3 December in De Groene Engel in Oss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henrik has his own style. He adds rock, jazz and funk to his blues. Both live and on his CDs, you can hear and feel his passion. In 2006 the debut album of this band was released, many albums followed. Last year, ‘Missing Pieces’ was released, which was also reviewed by Maxazine. Unfortunately, this is also the band’s very last album. Henrik plays with too much passion to take ’the show must go on’ literally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helaas is dit ook echt het allerlaatste album van de band. Henrik speelt met te veel passie om \u2018the show must go on\u2019 letterlijk te nemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelukkig stopt Henrik niet als muzikant, er zal zeker een nieuwe band komen. Dit einde is daarom een nieuw begin. We gaan Henrik Freischlader zeker terugzien!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
