In 2023, Wobbler’s keyboardist Lars Fredrik Fr\u00f8islie released Fire Fortellinger. Now, a special version of this debut album is out. Stefano \u2018Lupo\u2019 Galifi (Museo Rosenbach) sings on Quattro Racconti. Two of the four tracks are epics lasting over 16 minutes.
The first track, \u201cIl Cavaliere dell’Apocalisse\u201d, already contains plenty of twists and turns. Due to my limited knowledge of Italian, I don’t understand much of the vocals, but I can tell that Stefano sings with passion. The emotion can also be heard in the music. \u2018Un Posto Sotto il Cielo\u2019 is a varied track, with a slightly boring fade out. \u2018Presagio\u2019 contains a pleasant amount of retro organ playing.
The vocals in \u2018Cattedrale della Natura\u2019 are sometimes on the edge of being too intense, but the vocal volume changes are impressive.
This album also has psychedelic influences and folk elements. You can hear the sounds of a flute and an acoustic string instrument. In addition, there are contrasts between low (bass) tones and the high (electronic) sounds of the keyboards.
The drumming definitely deserves praise, but the keyboard playing in particular is very varied. Quattro Racconti is highly recommended for lovers of complex (retro) prog rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
