\u2018Blood Dynasty\u2019 is Arch Enemy’s twelfth studio album. After the atmospheric start of \u2018Dream Stealer\u2019, the metal (including the grunts of Alissa White-Gluz) erupts. The sudden ending is beautifully tight. \u2018Illuminate the Path\u2019 has positive lyrics and a matching, uplifting atmosphere. The music in \u2018Presage\u2019 is unexpectedly very calm, I expect much more, but it is a very short track. \u2018Blood Dynasty\u2019 is not particularly optimistic, but it is a good, accessible title track, snatches of which will quickly stick in your head. The French-sung \u2018Vivre Libre\u2019 is at times almost tender, at other times powerful. This forms both a contrast and a harmony with the grunts. Time slips between your fingers like sand in the melodic \u2018The Pendulum\u2019.
\u2018Blood Dynasty\u2019 is an album with many pluses. The melange between metal and lighter elements, and between rhythm versus melody is good. In terms of vocals, you hear raw and deep grunts as well as melodic grimy vocals. There is a lot of beautiful guitar playing, but the rhythm section is also good. Moreover, there are plenty of twists and turns. Arch Enemy continues to (even after 30 years) make good albums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Blood Dynasty \u2018is het twaalfde studio-album van Arch Enemy. Na de sferische start van \u2018Dream Stealer\u2019 barst de metal (inclusief de grunts van Alissa White-Gluz) los. Het plotselinge eind is mooi strak. \u2018Illuminate the Path\u2019 heeft een positieve tekst en een bijpassende, opzwepende sfeer. De muziek in \u2018Presage\u2019 is onverwacht erg kalm, ik verwacht veel meer, maar het is een hele korte track. \u2018Blood Dynasty\u2019 is niet bepaald optimistisch, maar het is wel een goede, toegankelijke titeltrack, waarvan flarden van de muziek al snel in je hoofd blijven kleven. Het Frans gezongen \u2018Vivre Libre\u2019 is soms bijna teder, op andere momenten krachtig. Dit vormt zowel een contrast als een harmonie met de grunts. Tijd glijdt als zand tussen je vingers in het melodieuze \u2018The Pendulum\u2019.
\u2018Blood Dynasty\u2019 is een album met veel pluspunten. De melange tussen metal en lichtere elementen, en tussen ritme versus melodie is goed. Qua vocals hoor je zowel rauwe en diepe grunts, als melodieuze grimmige zang. Er is veel mooi gitaarspel, maar ook de ritmesectie mag er zijn. Bovendien zijn er genoeg wendingen. Arch Enemy blijft (ook na 30 jaar) nog steeds goede albums maken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
