The band plays a mix of melodic rock, AOR and Progressive Rock. There are no less than four keyboardists, especially they are important for the rich sound and beautiful melodies. As expected, there are a lot of keyboard sounds, in addition there is an alternation of acoustic and electric guitar playing. At times, the guitar playing is compelling and tender. Also on this album, the bass and\/or drums are occasionally in the foreground. There are plenty of interchanges between rocking and minimalist parts, the (sometimes quite large) volume differences flow just fine. Sylvain Desc\u00f4teaux&#8217;s voice suits the music, the emotion can be heard in his voice. Sometimes the (stacked) vocals are a bit sugarly in sound. The sound is well spread over the headset, revealing the nuances.<br>\u2018Failing\u2019 is a duet with \u00c9lo\u00efse Joncas, fans have long known that her voice is a fine blend with Sylvain&#8217;s. This beautiful closing track ends quite unexpectedly. De band speelt een mix van melodieuze rock, AOR en Progressive Rock. Er zijn maar liefst vier toetsenisten, vooral zij zijn belangrijk voor het rijke geluid en de mooie melodie\u00ebn. Zoals verwacht zijn er veel keyboard klanken, daarnaast is een afwisseling van akoestisch en elektrisch gitaarspel. Met vlagen is het gitaarspel meeslepend en gevoelig. Ook op dit album zijn de bas en\/of de drums af en toe op de voorgrond. Er zijn volop wisselwerkingen tussen rockende-en minimalistische delen, de (soms vrij grote) volumeverschillen verlopen prima. De stem van Sylvain Desc\u00f4teaux past bij de muziek, de emotie is in zijn stem te horen. Soms is de (gestapelde) zang wat zoet van klank. Het geluid is goed verdeeld over de headset, waardoor de nuances goed tot zijn recht komen.<br>\u2018Failing\u2019 is een duet met \u00c9lo\u00efse Joncas, fans weten al langer dat haar stem een prima blend vormt met die van Sylvain. Deze mooie afsluiter eindigt vrij onverwacht.
